


Audio description is the auditory narration of visual representations such as theatre, dance, circus, television programs, films and conferences. During gaps in dialogue, it describes visual elements such as scenes, settings, actions and costumes.
Liz has 30 years experience in the disability arts field, working internationally. She directs a non for profit with a focus on celebrating and championing community members living with disability. Liz trained in Audio Description in 2020 and has described for Sydney Dance Company, Dan Daw Creates, Rebus Theatre, The Stellar Company and numerous dance films. She also produced an Audio Description training course for dancers of First Nations, CaLD and disability backgrounds supported by Creative Australia.
